Paleoclimate reconstruction and calibration

In the case of high-time resolution proxy records (high resolution in active speleothems and limnological cores, historical documents, tree-rings, other biological proxies) we are focused on the identification the linkage between the instrumental and proxy records, especially in proxy records with non-regular intervals between data points, aiming to develop calibrating functions between the two signals.

Likewise, in order to better understand the changes in climate variability in the past, we are interested in studying the effect of low-frequency atmospheric patterns in different characteristics of accumulation of proxy records in the instrumental period.
